Special Needs and the Sandwich Generation

by on

One of the goals of AMHF is to help those with the extraordinary and often isolating emotional problems connected with developmental disabilities and special needs. To this end, I highly recommend two Web sites and blogs. The first one today features a story about a young woman with a severe seizure disorder and how her younger brothers cope, with a mixture of humor and frustration. This blog and many others can be found at the poetically titled (from Yeats) a moon, worn as if it had been a shell. The second is a Web site called squashed bologna: a slice of the sandwich generation. You will benefit from a look at both.
