Courts Criticize Medicare Rule Interpretation

Recently the New York Times reported that two federal courts were critical of the interpretation of Medicare regulations concerning the treatment of chronic conditions such as Alzheimer’s conditions, broken hips, and other maladies–incorrectly refusing to reimburse for treatment that keeps someone at a functional level instead of improving their condition.
